Blended Intelligence is a research-informed approach to problem solving. It starts by understanding the problem, considers the expertise it requires, and asks how that expertise should be organised and combined to create effective solutions.

Dr Ryan King has spent more than two decades working across elite and high-performance sport as a practitioner, coach, performance leader, consultant and researcher.
Across those roles, he has become increasingly interested in how people understand difficult problems and how organisations make use of the expertise available to solve them.
Why do organisations employ exceptional experts, put them into multidisciplinary teams, and then give surprisingly little thought to how that expertise should be combined?
That question became the starting point for the research behind Blended Intelligence.
