Is delivering a performance intervention ‘skilled doing’ or ‘critical thinking’? By establishing the nature of the performance problem we can deploy strategies and solutions that are appropriate to the need; helping us to achieve better as a result. In high performance we like to talk about performance problems, problem solving practitioners and performance questions and like to see the Multi-disciplinary Team as creative innovators deploying novel solutions to complex challenges. This is true in some cases but not always.
