The behaviour of the leader (whether it be a Coach, Manager, Head of Department or Director) is a product of both their environment and culture within the organisation that they operate.

  • Do you feel empowered of gagged by those who oversee, manage & direct you?
  • Are you reprimanded for having a difference of opinion or going against a status quo?
  • Do you see colleagues praised and championed in meetings who say nothing? And
  • Are they very verbal in their disagreement outside of the group?
  • Do you feel safe to to ask questions, challenge and present alternatives? If not, why is that?
  • Do you notice significant deference to the boss or the favored voices? why is that?
  • Are meetings and group exchanges underpinned by a sense of fun, humour and safety or anxiety, directives and threat?
